As I see, time has flown past me. I have been really productive and making great use of this summer, unlike last year, where I struggled to do something other than warcraft :P
But I am kind of proud of myself at the fact that I am slowly getting into routine and trying my best not waste time. Also, from the last time I updated, quite a lot has happened. On July 11, I watched Harry Potter 5 and O waited 2 hours before, so I had good seats. And then a few days after, I saw it again with Zaynah. I must say, that was the best day, and it still is. It was really, really fun, and I hope we have more days like that :) Sushi !!
And, a week after, I went to chapters and bought 100 dollars worth of books; it felt good because it has been quite a while since I have bought a book. One of the books I bought was Eragon, and I am going to read it very soon. I also bought this harry potter series book holder, and it really makes hold my books well :D
In addition to that, I went to Pacific Mall and it was great, but the store had changed. I got a purple headband, Hitomi Shimatani's Prima Rosa album, a few stationary, 2 keychains, and a clock.
And the week after that, I went school shopping.
And now I arrive to now. I have been reading, drawing, painting, and playing a lot of piano. I have been working really hard, but in the end, its fun. For me, the summer is not at all boring. To be honest, I enjoy the me time, all by myself, fufufufu ~

I think today was the official last day of school because I got my final exam marks and my report. I think I did alright on the exams, but since my marks from other assignments were quite high, my final mark was at all bad :D And I gave my teachers a card and flowers and they really liked it.
And its really hot outside. The air is filled with hot air and its all humid. Its really making me sick and its hard for me to breathe at times. I cannot even play tennis because of that, and all the bugs are outside which makes it worse. But at least there are not any mosquitoes. As for the flowers, some of them have wilted so I must water them 3 times a day. I am really tired today for some reason, so I think I will relax some more, but I need to practice piano soon ~

Yesterday I thought I would get better by eating Jello and soup, but unfortunately my tummy was hurting really badly this morning and it hurt even more when I attempted to get up from bed. At least I can sit up right now as I write this post. I just had a bowl of strawberrry Jello which kind of calmed my tummy. And then I ate an egg with some orange juice.
I must say this vacation so far is pretty good. Even though I'm not doing much, I'm letting my body relax as much as I can and taking every slow like a snail. I still have 4 days unitl I actually follow a mild routine. After my exams, I had a week off before report cards so I used those days to do nothing or just sleep a lot. I can feel it inside that I am really rejeuvinated. :3
As for the plants, the front area of red flowers wilted and they look a bit dead. The evil scorching sun burned them. I think I'll need to buy new ones and water the flowers 3 times a day, its just to hot out there. My mommy watered them this morning, and an hour later the soil was dry.
And, I have been saving up for 7 months, and I have more than enough to buy an iPod Video with 30 GB. I'm still thinking if I should buy it or not. I'll wait a few more weeks.

I have a tummy ache - Music:Gackt - Returner Yami no Shuuen
When I woke up this morning, I had a terrible tummy ache and couldn't even get up. So I went to sleep and woke up two hours later. But my tummy was still hurting so my mommy told me to eat Jello, and I lived off that all day.
But after that my aunt, my cousin, my mommy, my sister, and I went to Tim Hortons and the Garden Store to spend some quality time together. It was quite fun :D And when we went to the garden store, there were so many pretty and colorful flowers. They were all on sale which made it even better. There was this strawberry flower that was originally five dollars but it was put down to two dollars! I like sales.... :P
Then around 5, we started gardening, and I enjoyed the whole way through. We had a rectangle with a rose patch, a giant circle beside the stairs, and a big triangle shaped box near the window of our house. I planted purple and white flowers in the rose area, a long white clementis vine in the circle about 25 cm tall, and pink, red, and green flowers in the triangle. The finished product was really pretty to look at.

As you can see, today was my last day of exams. Yesterday, I had a geography exam and it was alright. There was this one question that I didn't know how to do; it was something about maps. And today I had the History and English Exams. For History, it was alright as well because I tried really hard to memorize a lot of the dates, and they were getting mixed up in my head. But, for the first time, I was able to finish my essay and have fifteen minutes to spare. I felt really good because I could review and in the past tests I was always scrambling to finish. I still have a bit of anxiety about it because there was this poster and I had to interpret the meaning of it. That was one of the questions that bothered me.
In English, we had to read a 6 page story and answer fifty multiple questions. In my opinion, it was not as bad as I thought it would be, but still I don't want to have hopes because anything can happen. Anyways, I feel relieved that the exams are finished. Still I need to remember that this is just the beginning. And because of that, I try not to stress too much. I learned a lot and it was my first biggest change in school life, so in the future I hope to improve and learn from this.
For my summer, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do, but for this week, I just want to relax and do nothing, maybe draw. But that's it. Really, I can finally relax ^___________________^

There is always a reason for my 'rare' updates. I have been very busy, and its almost the end of the year so all the major projects and tests are coming one after the other. At least, I have time right now to make a nice entry :D
So far, I have been studying for my 2nd History unit test. I think it was a major improvement from the last time I wrote the first Unit test because I was rushing to finish up my essay, and I was still writing 10 minutes after class. But for this one, I managed to finish right in time. Also, I have been working hard on English. We are reading "Much Ado About Nothing," and we need to do dramatizations next week. But we had to write a comparison paragraph. It was a comparison between Don Pedro (Much ado About Nothing) and Uncle Axel (The Chrysalids). I needed to make a topic sentence and find quotes on Thursday and write the paragraph on Friday. I think this was an improvement to because on my first summative, I blanked out and I was rushing to make my paragraph make sense. But in this, I had butterflies in my tummy, but I was sort of calm; hopefully I do well.

Yesterday, I went to watch Spider Man 3. All the shows were sold out, but we got our tickets online. We were one of the first people to line up and I got a really good spot :D I must say, I really enjoyed the movie, but I was kind of dissapointed. They didn't show much of Venom in the movie, and he didn't seem to have a great part. Nevertheless, I still liked the movie !
As for the weekend, I need to finish off my ISU and ISP book and hopefully and I can draw something. And did I mention, I actually like IB, yay!
And, the weather is really pretty outside, almost time for gardening ^_________^

I am really glad, I have been wanting to paint, but I never did. And finally today, I made a painting. I am quite proud of it. Lately, I have been feeling really discouraged about my art and I thought that I was not good enough but I have been looking at my inspirations' art; and that has been motivating me to keep practicing. I hope that one day, I can be a really good drawer : )
I just hope this motivation will stay with me for a long time, I get discouraged easily so painting since a long time gives me such a warm feeling inside. Aaaahhhhhhhh ~ !
Perhaps one day, I can post my painting soon ^________^

Hmm. I don't know where to start..
I just remembered that I never posted when Zaynah had told me the other day.
All I can say I was really, really busy!! I have a lot of assignments and they all have their deadlines, so I couldn't even afford to write an entry. So now, its the long weekend and yes, I do have time. Yesterday, I organized my entire schedule in my Agenda, so now I can do a little everyday too meet the deadlines. I don't need to worry anymore : )
I think this long weekend will be great because I have no homework, except to do some reading and to rehearse my lines for an Elizabethan Presentation. Our group's topic is "Fashion and Food." At first I was supposed to be this Jester and I was really nervous about that because I am a really shy and quiet person, and acting like a Jester would require me to come out of my little "shell." But now anymore! I am now a musician. We are having a feast, so I am hired by the Lord to play music, so while they are eating I am going to play the piano/organ :D
And then, I have to talk about the upper class fashion, so I will need to do some research.

Well, it's March Break ~ !
I'm really glad, I needed some time to organize myself and to review over what all I learned. Not only that, I can actually draw. Slowly, I am making time for everything I want to do, it may be a the pace of a snail, but at least I am getting there..
Here are some of the tasks that I need to/want to finish by March Break :
-Geography Project
-Study for History Unit Test
-History Propaganda Poster
-English Analytical Paragraph
-Work on ISP and ISU
-Read 5 Chapters from "The Chrysalids"

I feel kind of discouraged because I am not improving in my analytical paragraphs. When I write, it comes from inside, and it takes time. But I can't seem to do it anymore, I feel lost when I write. I don't think I can do it anymore. It is important because they are the foundation of everything else. *sighs
I want to do well in English, and I think improving is more important than getting such a high grade. When I was looking back at the paragraphs, I felt so bad..
I just hope the one I'll do in the March Break will turn out much better.
Also, after the March Break, there are going to be Archery try outs. I am really interested in that, I think I may try it out, though I have never done. But it has always been something I wanted to do.

...Wow, its been a while since I've updated.
I think I may have said it in my other posts: I am very busy~!
At least I finished my ISP and ISU first parts. Those took a lot of reading and research and they are the foundation of the final project, so now at least I am focused on where these projects are going to go :) This entire week was that much special. It was just the regular school week; but at least there were not any tests. It was just a bit stressful because I had to get the ISP and ISU done. But if feels like a big load has come off my back.
Also, since it was "Snow Day" for some people today, I have no homework for the whole weekend, because I asked this girl who went to school and she said not a lot of people came, and some teachers were absent. YAY ~ !

"I tend to have a lot of nervous break downs....."
Today, we had to write a summative. It is an analytical paragraph where we had to read the story and find six quotations yesterday, and then today, we could only use our quotations to write our paragraph. I had improved on my previous analytical paragraphs, but I think for this one, I broke down. From the start, I was shaking and I got nervous; I had the ideas inside my head, but when I went to write it down, I was confused and it would not come out properly. I had terrible nervous break down, and now I am worried. : (
I like English, but these break downs are just terrible. It even happens on tests, and even piano.
I just hope all goes well..

For the past few weeks, I have been really, really, really, busy. I have to submit an ISP (Independant Study Project) for English and ISU for History analysis by March 2nd.
For History, I need to write a 7 page essay on whether I consider Romeo Dallaire a villain or hero. This essay is due somewhere in May, but we have to do a lot of planning now. I am reading a book he wrote that is about 531 pages, and I am at the 108th page. So far, I think I will be finished in time. I also need to have at least 7 resources for this topic.
For English, the ISU is due in June, and it is one of the final projects worth a lot of marks. You need to read a book related to a course you took this semester and I need to write a progress journal as I read through the book. I have found a book, but I need to get it approved.
And of course, I have piano and drawing. I am now practicing piano 2 hours every day instead of 45 minutes. I think I need to work harder because 45 minutes isn't enough. I must say that practicing for that long does start to hurt your wrists. As I play the exercises non stop for a minute, I can feel the burn up my arm and sometimes it does turn red, and then I need to stop for a while before I can continue. But my arms are getting used to it. As for drawing, I am not finding time at all, but whenever there is free time at any period at school, I draw pictures in my agenda. At least I have some practice there.
I just want to focus on finishing these books, then I can organize my time. I think I am doing well in my time management skills because I seem to be able to get everything done on time, YAY ~ !
Also, I think today is your friend, Melanie's birthday ( is that right Zaynah?). Today, Angela told me that it was her birthday one of these days; so if its today...

I really wanted a Snow Day, it's been quite a while since it happened. Last year, I had about 3, but this year, there was hardly any snow. I like snow; everything is white and it just looks nice!
I think I am just going to play piano and draw some pictures.

In geography, we are doing political and physical maps, and in History we are learning about the World War.
I really like History, I find it really interesting :)
In English, it was pretty funny. We had envelopes and there were about 12 words. And then, we had to make up a story in 15 minutes with our groups and present in to the class. We had words like: Jaime, Teresa, campfire, marshmellows, wheelchair, storm, current, and wave boarding. It was really funny because almost everyone made up a story of a surfer who got injured in a storm and ended up in a wheel chair and had to get his legs amputated. It was pretty funny. . .
I didn't get a lot of homework today, so I will have a relaxing weekend. Tomorrow I am going to the library, it's been quite a while since I went there. Lot's and lot's of books! Yay!
Also, I went to the Mall today with my cousin because I needed to clothes shopping, but I didn't like anything. So then I went to Hallmark and I bought my mom a Valentine's gift and she bought her sister a Valentine's card. It was fun.

I am in this IB program which is much more challenging than an ordinary school curriculum . There is more homework, advanced studies, and you need to display an array of skills like leadership, initiative, and I guess you should like to study because there is a lot of work, and if you don't like it could be hard.
Anyways, it gets harder and harder and you have to a lot of grade 10 things in grade 9. It's just very advanced. However, I seem to be perplexed. The reason is because I really like to draw, but it is hard to focus on both art and studies. I could split my time for both, but then I would not be giving my best effort in school. The extra work is taking the time I would use for drawing or piano. There is nothing wrong with that, but I have been noticing that it's hard to draw, because now I am revolved around studies alone. I know I need time management, but I have tried and I don't like giving 20% to each area, I'd rather be the best at one thing.
In my opinion, IB is not hard, it's when you are absent it becomes hard. I enjoy studying very much, I like the extra work, but drawing is important too. At times I do think I should go to French Immersion, but then something in my head tells me I am dumb, and I feel like that. For some reason. I feel intelligent in IB, and if I go down a level, I don't feel smart and feel bad because I see all these people in IB and how smart they are, and when I look at myself, I feel sad.
I don't know what to do. I just wanted some peoples' opinions; perhaps it may guide me somewhere. Do any of you think IB is better?

Since it is winter I thought that it's nice to go with the season. Winter is my favorite season, and I like the snow, and I really like this layout :)
This entire week is the beginning of the new semester. I have Digital Arts, Geography, Lunch, History, and English. I like this semester much better because I have all of my most favorite subjects, and I think it is much easier than the first semester. Also, there is a lot more writing to do in this semester. I like to write, so I really don't mind. Another good thing is that I have English, it is my favorite subject and I have been waiting for it.
In addition, this week is quite relaxing. We are just getting notes and taking it easy until next week. Overall, this week is alright so far.

On Monday, I had my Physical Education Exam and it was out of 100. The entire test was multiple choice. I like multiple choice, but having the entire test multiple choice was a bit confusing because the answers are really close. And some of them were trick questions, so that made it harder. But I think I did alright.
Then on Wednesday, I had my Math Exam. It was out of 120. Overall, I thought it would be really difficult, but in comparison to the other units tests in math, I found this easier.
On Thursday, I had my Science Exam, and I was really stressing on this one because I had to learn the Biology Unit in one day. I was able to understand most of the concepts in Biology, and the exam didn't have a lot of Biology, and I was able to answer the questions. I think I did alright on this one too.
And today, I had my French Exam. It was 11 pages and it was on the those big, long papers. But 4 pages were an "ecoute" where you have to listen to the sentence and identify it as imparfait, conditionelle, present, passe compose, and some other french techniques. Overall, I think it was my favorite exam. In general, I really like french, so it didn't bother me that much. ^___________________^
As for the marks, I'll try not to expect anything, and when I get the marks, I'll be surprised. Now, I can relax for a week, it feels really, really good :)
There arn't many plans yet, I may go to a new japanese buffet restaurant that opened near my house next week. Sushi ~ :)
Also, I bought a "My Melody" watch and purple hello kitty keychain today.
